An 82-year-old woman will go into space with Jeff Bezos on July 20: she will be the oldest person to go on a space tour

Wally Funk, an 82-year-old woman, will accompany Jeff Bezos into space aboard a flight from his company Blue Origin on July 20, becoming the oldest person to travel into space, the company announced Thursday.

She will be the fourth passenger on the space tourism company's first manned flight, along with the billionaire, his brother Mark Bezos, and the winner of an as yet unnamed auction.
