This June 11, 2020, Sony began by lifting the veil on the list of games that will land on PS5 in the course of the year 2021, including Spider-Man, Gran Turismo 7 and Resident Evil 8 Village. And when no one believed it anymore, the firm unveiled the complete design of the console after months of teasing.

Here are the first images of the Sony Playstation 5
Like the DualSense controller that comes with it, the PS5 has a white design. The black is indeed more discreet on this generation when it was predominant on the old consoles of the group. We obviously find the blue backlight which reminds in particular its predecessor, the PS4. Finally, it will be noted that the black part forms a "V" intended to evoke the nomenclature of the console in Roman letters.

Ultra futuristic, the Playstation 5 gives way to white and sharp lines. Like its rival the Xbox Series X, it is built vertically.

Like the Xbox Series X, the Playstation 5 is arranged vertically, which sets it apart from previous Sony iterations. From now on, we will have to slide the discs of our video games into a vertical slot (unless you opt for the edition without a slot). However, it is obviously possible to arrange the console vertically or horizontally in order to take up less space in a cramped TV cabinet.

Under the console, note the presence of a black base to keep the console stable. On the connection side, we can see a USB A port and a USB C on the front panel. What do you think of the design of the Playstation 5? Can you imagine the console proudly sitting in your living room? Are you disappointed with Sony's aesthetic choices? Your opinion is awaited in the comments below.
