Man seriously injuring two police officers actively wanted in California: suspect described as wild beast by Donald Trump

A manhunt was underway in the Los Angeles metropolitan area on Monday to locate a gunman who seriously injured two police officers sitting in their duty car, a suspect called a "wild beast" by Donald Trump.
A bounty of $ 100,000 is offered for any information leading to the location of the attacker as a video, recorded on Saturday by a surveillance camera, shows him approaching the patrol vehicle on foot and then opening fire in cold blood.
The two officers, a man and a woman, were seriously hit by several bullets and hospitalized. They should survive their injuries.
The suspect has been identified as a 28/30 year old black man wearing dark colored clothes.
His double attempted murder takes on particular relief in the current climate of tension around the police: many Republicans pose as sole defenders of the police and accuse the Democrats of leading an opposing campaign by denouncing the abuses of which are victims African Americans.
Reacting quickly, the Democratic candidate for the White House, Joe Biden, condemned an "unspeakable" attack and wanted its author to be brought to justice.
President Donald Trump went further, suggesting capital punishment for the gunman in case the police were to die. "You have to hit the wild beasts hard," the president tweeted.
